The South-Tirol portion of the Dolomites is a bilingual area and you will find the names of villages, valleys, rifugi and the signposts at crossroads both in German and Italian. I have used both languages here so you can familiarise yourself with what you may see on your travels!
Fabulous 2-day circular hike from Bagni di Lavina Bianca (Weisslahnbad) that takes you first to the Schlernhaus (rif Bolzano) along the Barenfalle, then to the TierserAlpl (rif Alpe di Tires) for a well deserved rest. Next day across the Molignon Pass (highest point of the tour) you can descend to the Grasleiten hut (rif. Bergamo) and from there back to Lavina Bianca following the charming Tschamintal (Ciamin Valley).

Long but fantastic tour along some of the most picturesque trails of the Dolomites. Can be done in a single day, but spending the night at the recently renewed Tierser Alpl (Alpe di Tires) or at the romantic Grasleitenhutte (rif Bergamo) are both good alternatives.

This moderate hike is perfect for a late autumn tour of the Val di Tires in front of the magnificent Rosengarten and the famous Vajolet towers.
